Don't Try This One
In our quest for new and exciting Christmas traditions, we decided to teach our children the legend of the candy cane. In doing so, we decided to make our own candy canes.... BIG mistake. Just take a look at the finished product. I think next year we will just teach them the story with a big box of store-bought ones!

In Texas, I taught my kdg. class about the true meaning of the candy cane. There is about 24 ninth graders who will not eat candy canes because they think there is blood in them. Opps!
